The girl was right all along. She just chose a different answer from her own cultural perspective. So how dare she be criticized for that? The little yellow demon whom the moderator commended should have been sent back to hell immediately, and the moderator along with it.

But on the other hand, somehow we think that even back then the whole question-and-answer may have been a setup to highlight White "insensitivity".

Comparing the two videos below, the trick is the avarice of the fat black beast who would steal all the candy and leave a child an empty bowl.

The treat is the altruism of the young White boy who would rather sacrifice some of his own candy so that the next child is not disappointed to find an empty bowl.
