Golliwogs: Banned in Britain
Britain should have banned the real wogs, but instead, they banned the caricatures. The Agatha Christie novel is real, as she had "Ten Little Niggers" published in the UK in 1939, but now it is often referred to as "And Then There Were None", from the last lines of an old minstrel song.
